Lately, there have been some questions as to how long Internet Access Providers can get away with charging $19.95 a month, with the growing number of companies that are offering free Internet Access. Most of the free Internet Access Providers are supported by advertisers. That means that ads are going to show up somewhere, either on your browser or in a separate window, while you are surfing. But who can complain about free Internet access?
Most of the ISP's listed here are for the United States, but providers that serve Canada have been marked. Also, note that if you try to connect to a service that does not serve your local area you may receive a long distance charge on your phone bill.
